Mary Skahill-Brewer is a lifetime resident of Southern California. She graduated from California Polytechnic University, earning a degree in Interior Design with an emphasis in Art History. She furthered her education in Florence, Italy and continues to travel and study extensively throughout Europe, Africa, and Asia, nurturing a beautiful and eclectic style with an emphasis on bringing a fresh and versatile approach and a practiced eye to each individual environment she creates.
With her participation in a wide variety of projects, including the assistance and production of three “Idea Houses” designed by Joseph Ruggiero at the Pacific Design Center, Mary gains constant practical experience in the ever-evolving field. She also continues to attend a variety of interior design-related classes, seminars, and programs at UCLA Extension and through the American Society of Interior Designers.
Mary has served as a Design Associate at Cynthia Bennett and Associates and was recently the Vice President and Co-Designer at Bridge Design Studio, creating three lovely rooms at the Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts in 2006, 2004, and 2003 and a worldly library and terrace at the Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills. Constantly embracing the principal that every home should reflect the customized taste and needs of the owner, whether a whimsical child’s room, a serene bedroom, or an elegant sitting room, Mary successfully creates interiors for personal clients in the Los Angeles and Pasadena area.
