Downtown Women's Center

Downtown Women's Center has provided services to homeless women for 29 years, and their new 67,000 sq. ft. facility, PROJECT HOME, expands their day center and permanent residential services.  The doors will open in Spring of 2010.  ASID Los Angeles, in conjunction with Nest Feathers is designing interiors and furnishing the new facility including 72 permanent housing apartments, a day center, dining room, offices, and educational facilities.  Our volunteers will create a welcoming and safe environment for the women who call DWC home, the 3,500 women visiting the day center annually and DWC's wonderful staff.
