Statement
When I started my journey with ASID, I kept asking myself this question: what’s in it for these members? How are they gaining from this experience? My goal has been to address this with answers… to discover what my colleagues have wanted and to help orchestrate the solutions. The teams I have served with and programs I have helped bring to our membership all had the singular goal of opening our eyes to new ideas, fresh perspectives, new ways to talk together and, of course, to share knowledge. I am humbled to be nominated for Director of Communications, and I will uphold the responsibility with added commitment to ensure we all have a voice, all learn new strengths, and are enabled to accomplish new goals – while contributing to the successes of our fellow members. Because, as I have learned, real growth does come from the contribution.
